Amisha Patel on the Cover of Maxim

Maxim selected Amisha Patel as the cover girl of for the month of December. The pictures are definitely hot and they show this Patel girl in the most revealing look till date. She is flaunting her curvaceous body like never before.
Amisha herself admits that she has done many photo shoots before but this was the most revealing. She definitely enjoyed the experience though and adds that it was the craziest one. But initially, Amisha was very apprehensive for giving such revealing shots and therefore kept postponing the shoot for two months after which she finally agreed.
Amisha has always been a bright student and she doesn’t feel that getting into films made her education go to waste. In fact, Amisha considers her educational knowledge as cushion on which she could fall back on if ever she fails in films.
But with her new look and curvaceous body, it doesn’t seem like the show biz is going to let go of this ‘Hot’ actress.
Talking about her debut in the film industry, Amisha says that she was launched at a wrong time. That was the period when stars like Kareena Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were launched, who happened to be star children. She however, didn’t have any godfather in the industry, yet she feels she has had an enriching experience as she survived through it.
When asked about her relationships with men, Amisha had a firm stand. Ever proposed by a gigolo before? Wouldn’t even recognize one, she says. She defends herself saying that she is already in a beautiful relationship, so no more proposals accepted.Amisha is a great fan of Aamir and would love to star in a film opposite him.

In between she became the first Indian actress to star in a Jackie Chan movie (The Myth), which took her to Cannes and Toronto and her pictures were splashed across magazines and newspapers all across the world including Time magazine.

With her 7Up commercials on air, a great line up of films and a variety of roles with new and established directors; Mallika Sherawat is poised to rock the world.

Mallika Sherawat's exclusive Interview for MAXIM Magazine

Do you watch porn?
Not yet! Maybe I'll get to it in my old age... Right now, watching Javier Bardem or Jack Nicholson in any movie's good enough for me.

What's your fave body part and why?
If you mean a man's body part, then certainly his head - I mean it includes the face and the brain - what good's a ripped body with a bone ugly face and a pea brain?? But if you mean effort, then its gotta be the gut - you gotta work real hard to get washboard abs... But somebody told me recently its the calves - so I've been looking at men's calves lately.

No, I mean your body.
Hmmm... I wouldn't like to take credit for God given assets... so I'll say hips - For Indian women that's where all the flab goes and I've had to work like hell to keep 'em lean...

Are you single?
Sadly, Yes!

Why?
Haven't met Javier Bardem yet and Jack Nicholson's too old for me... besides Jack can't be trusted. Seriously, I guess most of the men I've been interested have been put off by my superiority complex, arrogance, tantrums and as my brother says, bad attitude. If I don't get a hold of myself and reform I'm in danger of dying a spinster.

What kind of a man do you like?
The kind that tolerates my intolerable behaviour. Also someone who's thick-skinned and ignores my sarcastic comments, pretends to accept that women are superior beings, loves cinema and japanese food, and doesn't have diseases, drug problems and bad breath.

This leather outfit, do you think its kinky?
There's too little leather for it to be kinky, don't you think? I don't think its kinky, but certainly skimpy!

What's your favorite position?
Definitely Position No.1, at the very top.

Nikhil's vaada to Salman

At a time when most film-makers want to play safe by making short films [two hours or less than two hours duration], Nikhil Advani’s 'Salaam-E-Ishq' has a running time of 3.30 hours. Whew! “I look at it this way. Had there been one or two pairs/tracks in the film, this length would’ve been unjustified then. But 'Salaam-E-Ishq' has six different tracks which merge into one story. The length, therefore, is just right,” Nikhil informs me.
Please continue. “Four out of six stories meet at one place in the pre-climax. In fact, John-Vidya’s track triggers off the climax. The penultimate twenty minutes are the highpoint of my film. And I couldn’t have made the version shorter by any chance,” Nikhil enlightens.
A few days ago, Nikhil screened the rough cut of the film for his friends in the industry, directors all. “I was apprehensive that they might raise the same issue [length]. But they were unanimous that 'Salaam-E-Ishq' moves at a blistering pace. Not once does the pacing get lethargic, they felt. In fact, I have decided to add a few songs and scenes to the film if it works with the audiences. The length would almost touch 4 hours then,” Nikhil says.
Nikhil had also promised actor Salman Khan that he would first screen the film to his father, veteran writer Salim Khan, before anyone else and take his invaluable opinion on the film. “Salim-saab loved 'Salaam-E-Ishq' I asked him if anything needs to be cut or trimmed and he replied instantly, ‘It’s a brilliant film. Don’t cut even one frame’. That gave me the confidence to go ahead with the length,” Nikhil states.
Nikhil also makes a valid observation as far as the length is concerned. “A bad film with a shorter duration of 1.30 hours won’t work. Conversely, a good film that holds viewers’ interest with a running time of even 4 hours might still work,” he opines. I agree!
Meanwhile, Nikhil and Priyanka Chopra [paired opposite Salman] visited Jaipur on Sunday, 14th January to address the local media. All hell broke loose when they arrived at Jaipur’s INOX multiplex. A frenzied crowd attempted to get a glimpse of them, as they walked into the multiplex.
Nikhil and Priyanka floored the media with their witty and crisp answers. Later, Nikhil and Priyanka went to Dargah Sharif, Ajmer to offer prayers

Shah Rukh embraces hip-hop for KBC music video

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is going to host STAR Plus' popular quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC), is also featuring in a music video exclusively made for the show - his first such venture.
For the video, he has joined hands with singer-choreographer Ganesh Hegde who is presenting him in a completely new avatar. The two had earlier worked together for 'Don'.
The three-minute video is titled "Kar le kar le tu aek sawal".
"Shah Rukh has got a completely new, young look in the film. He will be seen donning a hip-hop look and the clothes are also designed to suit the mood of the video. The song is a fusion of hip-hop and Indian music," Hegde said to sources.
"We have put four huge, lavish and expensive sets in Mumbai. Even now I am shooting for it. We started shooting on Jan 10 and will wrap it up by tomorrow. After that we will do the post-production work," he added.
As far as Shah Rukh's clothes are concerned, Hegde said: "I shared my thoughts with (filmmaker) Karan Johar. He has done the styling accordingly."
The music video will be unveiled Jan 22 just before the quiz show goes on the air. STAR Plus is, however, going to 10-15-second-long show teasers of the music video before it actually premieres.
"It was SRK's idea to come up with a music video for KBC. He then shared the idea with his team," said a STAR Plus source.
The music video is conceptualised, choreographed, directed and sung by Hegde. Music is by Vishal-Shekhar while Shabbir, R.D. Telang, Kumar and Asif Baig have penned the lyrics.

Anil Kapoor smooches Anjana Sukhani in 'Salam-e-ishq'

Of all the lip locks being showered on the Bollywood screen off late, the latest one is in ‘Salaam-e-Ishq.’ But what sets this smooch apart from the others, is that the duo involved have a wide difference in age.
In Nikhil Advani’s ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ Anil Kapoor smooches Anjana Sukhani, who is probably half his age.
When Anil Kapoor was asked about the kiss, he replied, “I started smooching since ‘Jaanbaaz’ in which I kissed Dimple Kapadia and have continued to do so till ‘Musafir’ where I kiss Sameera Reddy. And well, you will see me kissing again in ‘Salaam-E-Ishq.”
So, is it not a problem to kiss actresses who are much younger than him? “No, if it is a part of the script, then I don’t mind.”
In the film, Juhi Chawla plays Anil’s wife, while Anjana is the other woman who enters their perfect family and things go haywire.
Anjana Sukhani, however, has a different story. “I wasn't told that I'll be doing a smooching scene. I wasn't prepared for it.” In fact, she was shocked to know about it. “I was almost in tears when I came to know about it. I was so uncomfortable and nervous doing it, but Anil is a really great person and he made my work easy.”
‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ has six parallel love stories and the film stars Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Govinda, Shannon Esrechowitz, John Abraham, Vidya Balan, Akshaye Khanna, Ayesha Takia, Sohail Khan, Isha Koppikar, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Anjana Sukhani and Karan Johar.

I'm over the moon, says Amitabh

Dad Amitabh Bachhan is on cloud nine after son Abhishek announced he was marrying Aishwarya Rai - a decision that was hanging fire for more than a year.
Asked when the marriage would take place, Amitabh said: "Not right way. But yes, very shortly. Like every father I'm over the moon, specially at this juncture when Abhishek has delivered such a sledgehammer performance in 'Guru'."
The wedding is expected to take place in February.
"Amitabh Bachchan is so happy with this alliance that he himself called up a journalist and said, 'Congratulations, Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya and she has accepted'," a source close to the family said.
The engagement Sunday evening of Bollywood's hottest couple puts at rest all speculation on whether the marriage will happen or not. Close friends feel that their love has withstood the long, rigorous test of time.
Apparently, some of family members were initially against the match but finally they also came around.
"Everybody - be it fans, media or family members - were against their marriage because of Aishwarya's flings in the past and the myth that she brings bad omen for her boyfriends. They warned Abhishek 'if you marry her your career will be ruined' and insisted that she is very unlucky.
"They tried to dissuade him by talking about their age difference (Abhishek is about to turn 31 and Aishwarya is 33) and that she is a manglik (born under a particular astrological configuration that the superstitious believe is not auspicious for the husband). But Abhishek didn't listen to anybody and withstood all the opposition," added the source.
Abhishek's first love story with Karisma Kapoor didn't have a happy ending. Before joining films he was dating the actress and they had got engaged too, but they later broke off over reported interference by Karisma's mother, former actress Babita, who didn't want her daughter to marry the then flop actor.
In 2005, Aishwarya came into his life after her break up with co-star Viveik Oberoi. Before that she had had an affair with Salman Khan.
Abhishek and Aishwarya appeared as lead couple in "Kuch Naa Kaho", "Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke", "Umrao Jaan" and the just released "Guru". In the first three films, their on-screen chemistry failed to impress and the movies sank without a trace. Thankfully, "Guru", released Friday, is making waves at the box office.
"They said that Abhishek should go with Rani Mukerji because they make a good couple. Some said that their romance is a mere publicity stunt but the fact of the matter is that they were waiting for a hit. Their marriage talk was going on for quite sometime; it didn't happen in the last few days," said the source.
The engagement took place at Amitabh Bachchan's residence and among those present at the ceremony were Aishwarya's family and industrialist Anil Ambani and his wife, Tina. Close friend Karan Johar was also there. Earlier, the 'roka' ceremony was performed at Aishwarya's house.
Asked about the whereabouts of the Bachchan family, who are reportedly in Ujjain in Rajasthan Monday, the source said: "It's difficult to say anything about them because it doesn't take them long to sit in a chopper and fly off to their desired destination."
Reports had been flying thick and fast for the past few months that an engagement was on the cards, particularly after Aishwarya accompanied Abhishek and his parents to perform rituals at a revered Varanasi temple.
Last February, Amitabh's brother Ajitabh Bachchan had told the media that he went to meet a Bangalore-based astrologer Chandrashekhar Swamy with the horoscopes of Aishwarya and Abhishek.
Apparently, Abhishek's octogenarian grandmother Teji Bachchan is keen to see him married.
